Eyebolts & lifting points Fixed, rotating, bolt-on and weld-on options
Durham Lifting supplies eyebolts, swivel hoist rings and lifting points for machinery, fabricated components and engineered loads. Selection is based on capacity, load direction, thread or mounting method and operating environment.

Lifting points for different connection requirements
A conventional fixed eye, rotating hoist ring and weld-on point are not interchangeable simply because they share a similar working load limit. The connection and permitted loading direction must suit the complete lift.

Eyebolts & eyenuts
Collared, dynamo, long-shank and compatible eye-nut arrangements.

Swivel hoist rings
Rotating and pivoting arrangements for suitable multi-directional lifting.

Bolt-on lifting points
Selected around diameter, thread form, engagement and base material.

Weld-on lifting points
Weldable rings and pivoting points for suitable engineered fabrications.
Specify the connection, not just the capacity
Working load limits may change with loading direction and installation. The base material, thread engagement, mounting surface and permitted movement must suit the lifting point.
Part of the complete rigging arrangement
Lifting points can be coordinated with slings, shackles, hooks and engineered lifting equipment. Send photographs or drawings where possible so the connection can be reviewed.
Can Durham Lifting help select the correct lifting point?
Yes. Provide the load, number of points, loading direction, mounting details and environment.
Can eyebolts be side loaded?
Not automatically. Permitted direction depends on the product and installation. A rotating point may be more appropriate.
What thread details are required?
Provide diameter, pitch or thread form, required length and base material where known.
Can lifting points include certification?
Available certification depends on the selected product. Confirm requirements when requesting a quotation.
