From Concept to Completion

Our Managing Director Amanda Gardiner will be attending this year’s Port’s and Vessels 2023 event. It will take place on March 15th in Newcastle and brings together the entire marine support supply chain for a day of dedicated content and networking opportunities.

Durham Lifting is celebrating International Women’s Day 2023. We celebrate the talented women that are a part of the Durham Lifting family that is headed by founder and Managing Director Amanda Gardiner.

Durham Lifting has become a proud sponsor of Marton FC’s under 11 football team! As a company with deep roots in the local community, we are passionate about supporting young people’s sports and activities.

The National Apprenticeship Week is an annual celebration of apprenticeships in the UK. It gives us the perfect opportunity to show our appreciation for the valuable contributions of our apprentices, and to highlight the many benefits of vocational education and training.

We have recently invested in a 3000 Tonne Test machine at Durham Lifting to increase our testing capacity. With this new equipment, we have successfully conducted a lift trunnion test with a proof load of 2125 tonnes.

The two-day event is organised by NOF takes place at Beacon of Light in Sunderland on November 9th-10th, 2022.
