Durham Lifting have a wealth of expertise in the design, manufacture and installation of crane systems. Every crane is custom designed and built to suit your specific lifting operation – heavy or light duty, for indoor or outdoor use, for low headroom or speed of operation  – no application is too big or too small.

Durham Lifting design and manufacture single and double girder overhead travelling cranes to your specific requirements. Both types of systems can be supplied with free standing gantry or can be wall mounted off haunches.

Light crane systems provide the same freedom and flexibility as an overhead travelling crane, but for much smaller operations and can be installed where space or structural limitations don’t allow for a standard crane installation.

Goliath Cranes are used for their sturdiness and ability to handle heavy loads. These highly efficient cranes are more suited to applications where fixed steel gantries would cause an obstruction.

If you’re looking for a lightweight lifting system that provides the additional benefit of portability then an A-Frame gantry cranes is the system for you. We offer various capacities from 250 kilos to 10 tonne with widths and heights to suit your lifting requirements.

Durham Lifting’s Wall Mounted Jib Cranes are for restricted individual workplaces and provide a maximum slew range of 2000. Column Mounted  provide 3600 rotation for the jibs.
