Durham Lifting and Multisec worked together to ensure the design, manufacture, and testing of the C-Hook met the strictest standards for safety and reliability. This innovative hook incorporates a dual gantry crane system with motorised counterweights, enabling full rotation both clockwise and counterclockwise – a major advancement over traditional C-Hooks that only tilt in one direction.

By integrating this unique counterweight system, the hook offers flexibility across a wide range of monopile can and cone sizes, with varying centres of gravity. Our engineering input also ensured that the mechanical load path bypasses welds, further enhancing safety, strength, and long-term durability.
