One of the unique features of our test bed is its ability to pivot at varying angles, allowing for a wider range of testing scenarios. Additionally, the test bed can be used conventionally as a horizontal test bed in our facility, making it a versatile tool for testing a variety of equipment such as slings, hook blocks, and bespoke and specialised subsea equipment.
The lower capacity of our test bed also makes it ideal for more accurate load application for low capacity testing of below 100 tonnes. This precision ensures that your equipment is tested thoroughly and accurately.
Our test bed has a bed length of approximately 5.7 meters, with a ram stroke of 1.2 meters. It can be used to test equipment up to 2 meters wide, fitting inside the test bed with ease. The main beam construction has been designed specifically to allow it to apply a distributed load along a length of 3.8 meters.
Furthermore, the cylindrical pipe design of the main beam makes it the perfect equipment to test subsea ploughs. This allows for efficient and effective testing of your subsea ploughs, ensuring that they meet the necessary requirements for your project.
